I think we have done it...

I asked Richard this week why he had gone poop in the potty for Gordon (Chris's cousin) but not for me. I asked if he liked Gordon better. Richard said yes so I forced a tear or two. I put a pretzel in the toilet and told him to aim. That worked. I have tried EVERYTHING else, but the combo of guilt and the target worked. He has had a couple of accidents this week, too, but today he went in the toilet twice!!!

He was playing out back then came in to tell me he had pooped outside. I checked his pants, but they were clean. Then it dawned on me, he pooped on the lawn! AAAAAAHH! I tried to not freak out to him, I don't want to scare him into pooping his pants again. I just calmly asked him where it was and told him that if he was outside and needed to poop to just come in and use the potty. I have to say, it was pretty funny!

Since Gordon welcomed Richard into the Big Boys Poo Club, I told Richard he would get his membership card, and keep it, only if he goes in the potty. We got it printed off today and he put it in his wallet, he thinks it's pretty cool!
