Fun times

Hannah was so tired one afternoon she crashed on the couch. So cute!

We have had a lot of fun with our new friends and neighbors, the Martins. We had them over for dinner the other night and the kids were so cute at their picnic.

We watched Callie one night and they had so much fun with her. We played outside, went for a walk, colored, had dinner, and even watched about 10 minutes of a movie or two. She is so cute and Richard and Hannah love her!

A couple of days ago we were invited to a Kids Explorer Day. Diego was there and Richard was so excited to see him. I think Richard saw him 5 or 6 times. He was so funny!

Licorice game...Richard had to eat the licorice without using his hands. He did a great job!

Changing tires

This is Richard's new friend, Zachary. We ran into him at the fair and he got to hang out with us for the morning. It was really fun for the kids to each have a friend.

Tasting bitter, salty, sour, and sweet.

Richard and Zachary LOVED this bomb squad robot. They would watch it grab a pumpkin, carry around a drink, and other cool stuff.

It was a really fun day. I even won a fishing pole for Richard from Cabelas and he got a building kit from Home Depot for a birdhouse that we made when we got home. And there was a Wal-mart "store" where the kids were given a pretend dollar and could really shop for toys and treats that were at discounted rates. It was really cool!

Pirates, Devils, and Snow

The kids have been playing dress-up the last few days. I only have found a few things for them to use, but they have had great fun being pirates, devils, and vampires. They have such great imaginations.

We got quite the snowstorm last night. Richard woke up at 7 am and got Hannah excited about the snow. I kept putting them off since it was in the LOW teens. Well, by 8:30 they had put on their own new snow boot and tried heading out the door without coats.

I got them properly bundled up and let them play until they were too cold to be out. They were the only kids out there which kind of surprised me. I love my little snow bunnies!
