Giving Thanks with family...

Thank you Heidi for letting me borrow this cute photo!

Lisa, I'm so glad we can borrow each other's photos! Thanks! :)

Brittany, Heidi and Paul

Grandma T. (95!) and Mark

Jaime and Hannah

This year was my family's turn for Thanksgiving. Richard fell asleep on the way to Mom's, I love the hammer in his hand while he sleeps. Ha, ha!

Richard and Riley played Frisbee for a while out front, more photos and stories later in the post.

Grandma Kia, Mom, and Hannah.

Lisa and Mark

Cute Marki

Bryce, Annie and Chloe

Riley and Brittany (thanks for being my photographer, Brit!)

I love this one on Hannah and Marki!

Heidi and Lisa planning their Black Friday shopping sprees.

Annie helped Chloe with some jokes to tell her family on their drive to St. George. They were so worried I would look at the jokes. They are too funny!

Mom, thank you for the great meal and fun Thanksgiving!

This one's for you, Lisa!

Riley gently escorting Hannah off the football field. Thanks for being such a great cousin, Ri! Richard had so much fun playing Frisbee. It was really sweet of you to play with him.

Marki and Brady having fun outside. It was quite a nice day! I love Marki's posing!

Marki, Brady and Richard causing mischief!

Richard getting ready to catch the Frisbee. Riley took him out to play. Once the Frisbee hit Richard in the head and he told Riley to be careful, "because I am special. Don't hit me in the head, I'm special."

Then Richard said, "You crack me up! You crack me up boy." Richard is so funny and he had tons of fun with his cousins yesterday. There is always someone fun to play with.

These guys get intense when it comes to sports. It was quite the game of football!

We all had a nice time. Thank you all for being such a great family! Richard and Hannah love to play with the cousins and it's always fun to catch up with everyone. Thank you, Mom, for hosting and for all the great food! Thank you, Grandma for being such a trooper. At 95 it's hard to hear and see everyone, but she always has a good attitude and loves being with everyone.

Just Richard being Spiderman. He LOVES all superheros and I found some theme songs from Playlist.com and he's been listening to them all weekend. Hey, he's getting good exercise too!

Little Jaime...

Hannah found my glasses and my phone yesterday. She put them on all by herself and walked in to show me.

Here she is on my phone. What a crazy, cute girl!

Hannah got stuck in our newspaper bin. I couldn't figure out why she was fussing, but then walked in to find that she had thrown some papers out and got trapped. So funny!

Little helpers...

I know, I'm sorry the photos aren't great, but Monday morning I was cleaning windows and the kiddies decided to help me. They were such great helpers.

Today I'm thankful for...

...humidifiers! My throat and chest have hurt for a few days, but I feel that the humidifier is doing some good.

...that I can work extra hours at work to save for Christmas!

...that Chris is such a hard worker! He didn't get home last night until after 11, in bed after 12, and was up again for work by 5:30! Chris works so hard to provide for our family and is putting in a lot of extra hours trying to get his business up and running.

...for the scriptures. I'm grateful for the Spirit that comes while reading them and the enlightenment, knowledge and joy!

...that Hannah is starting to talk a bit more. At least she can communicate with a little sign language. It makes it a little easier for us to understand her and keep the whining to a minimum.

Bunker Fam Thanksgiving...

I "borrowed" the following 4 pics from Lisa's blog. Thanks for being on top of pics, Lisa!

Grandpa and his great-grandchildren in attendence, but I guess Marki was not happy about it. Tammy and I snuck in so our sleepy kids could be in the photo, too. :)
Brit and me. She is so darling!
My two "Utah" brothers, Mark and Paul. We missed Brandon and Joe and their families. And Mom, who was visiting the "Georgia" bros.
Brittany, Heidi, and Lisa...such cute girls!
Every year, the Saturday or two before Thanksgiving, my extended Bunker family gets together for dinner. There are so many of us married that we couldn't all get together on Thanksgiving so my Grandpa brilliantly moved the party. It is always so fun to see many of my cousins that I don't see too often. And now we get to see each other's kids grow so much from year to year.

I'm really sad that I didn't get photos of the adults, but I got so busy with the kids, saying hi to everyone, and making sure things were okay with the food for Chris. But we had a great time and the food was awesome!!! Thanks Chris for all your hard work. And thanks to Paul and Heidi for hosting and orchestrating everything. It was a great party!

The little kid's table. It just happened this way...Brady sat down first, then Richard, then Bo, then Marki, and I had to put Hannah with them. None of them stayed for long, as they had much havoc to raise. It's so time consuming to be a kid.

Elise the cookie snatcher. Hannah and Elise are the same age and bonded quickly. We saw her and her family during the summer, but not since. They didn't talk to each other with words, but smiled and giggled together. I love how many cookies she grabbed. We took her to her mom's table to share the cookies with her family. :)

She is so cute, I think she looks like her dad, with a little of her mom (Bunker) in her.

Hannah was so shy all day. She only got about a 20-30 minute nap in the car on the way down so she was tired and a little overwhelmed with all the new faces.
This is the buffet Chris provided for us. It was wonderful and I think everyone wants him to cater each year now. We'll see. :)

Paul and Heidi had each of us write a letter to Grandpa thanking him for all he has done for each of us in our lives. He is so supportive, and if it weren't for he and Grandma, none of us would be her together. Here is the "letter box" Heidi delivered to him at the end of the meal.

We all had a wonderful time. I am thankful for all of my family. For the love and support we have for each other. And that we are able to see each other at least once every year.

Great news...

I'm trying not to get too excited, but Hannah did the sign tonight for potty so I took her in there. She sat on the potty, pretended to wipe her bottom, and then...she went potty! I was shocked and so excited. Hannah smiled from ear to ear and Richard clapped for her. Let's see what will happen tomorrow!

She just turned 18 months this week so I know it is really early to start potty training, but I'll take it at her pace. And right now, she is fascinated with the toilet. Yeah, Hannah!

My little helpers...

The kids helped me pick up leaves on Saturday. They had a lot of fun and made a big mess!

Husband Tag...

This is Chris being silly on the way to a Rascal Flatts concert. I love it because it shows his sense of humor and how hadsome he is.

I already did a fun tag similar to this, but I thought I'd do this one too. If you know me, you know that I adore my honey and I love talking about him!

1. Where did you meet? ldsmingle.com, then in the Smith's parking lot in Farmington, so romantic. I felt an instant connection.

2. How long did you date before you got married? 3 months and 1 day

3. How long have you been married? Almost 4 1/2 years.

4. What does he do that surprises you? Not really anything until this year and he took me on a few 1 night stays to various places and surprised me with a trip to San Diego in the spring. We've had a lot of fun this year!

5. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his eyes, his heart, his smile, his laugh...where do I stop? I just love everything about him!

6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is a wonderful father and provider!

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Jaim, babe, sweetie, sweet pea.

8. What is his favorite color? Red for blood and anything camo!

9. What is his favorite food? Almost anything, he is a chef after all.

10. What is his favorite sport? Hunting and fishing

11. When and where was your first kiss? (That's funny, "This Kiss" just came on the radio) The night after we met face to face, Chris had a date with another girl that he cut short. He came to my apartment and we watched "Newsies". I sang with all the songs and I know that's what got him 'cause he kissed me right then and there. It was the best kiss I had ever had!

12. What do you like to do together? Hike, watch tv, play with the kids, go to the mountains, travel, we do almost EVERYTHING together. We are truly best friends!

13. Do you have any children? Two, Richard and Hannah

14. Does he have any hidden talent? Chris loves to work on our cars. He is very handy and is always fixing things around the house. He is willing to try anything.

15. Who said "I love you" first? Chris did, one week after we met, and I could honestly reply that I loved him, too.

16. What is his favorite music? County and hard rock.

17. What do you admire most about him? Chris has a good, kind heart. He will get mad for me saying this, but he has a loud bark, but rarely ever bites. Many people don't understand him, or get intimidated, but he is really just a great man. He really does care about those around him but has a hard time admitting it sometimes. And he has a great sense of humor, we laugh a lot.

18. Do you think he will read this? Probably, maybe

Today I'm thankful for...

...my kids eating eggs and pancakes for breakfast (that's all we have in the house right now). We need to do some MAJOR grocery shopping this week!!!

...that I didn't work last night, Chris was gone and I didn't have a car to get to work. It was nice to be home with the kids. But now I REALLY don't want to go tonight. : ( Oh well, it's much needed $$$ right?

...Puffs Plus, the only tissue I use for the winter, they really prevent a chapped nose! :)

...that my dryer is working again (thanks to Chris), I did at least 6 loads of laundry yesterday and I need to do a few more today. It's a bit of a pain when you can't dry everything, especially since yesterday was rainy.

...that my kids wake up happy. That helps me since I'm not much of a morning person, I'd rather be up late and sleep in, but that doesn't work too well with my kiddies. I love them.
