Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday the kids and I went to a huge Easter egg hunt and party. It was at Bill Clinton's Presidencial Library here in Little Rock. There were so many people and we stood in line after line, but the kids had so much fun in the inflatables, on the egg hunt, playing games, rolling down hills, seeing the Easter Bunny, a pony ride, and feeding the petting zoo animals. It was a lot of fun. I anticipated staying for an hour or two, but we were there for almost 4 hours. It was a really fun day.

The Old Mill

This mill is a recreation of those from the early 1800's here in Arkansas. The creator wanted a place for us to remember what the "Arkansas pioneers" went through and how they lived. It was built between 1931-1933 and was featured in the opening scenes of "Gone with the Wind." It is so beautiful and relaxing. The kids loved going on all the paths and bridges and I had fun getting some great pictures. There were so many people getting Easter/bridal pictures and that is certainly the place to get them taken!!!

Mustache

We went to Playtime Pizza Monday for FHE and one of Richard's prizes was this mustache. We had a lot of fun taking turns. Chris especially liked when I tried it on. I didn't have my camera with me and was driving so I don't have a picture of that. But we had a lot of fun.

Memphis Ya'll

We really neede a break so we took one. Friday after work and school we drove to Memphis, only 2 hours away. We stopped to go potty and get icecream cones. Richard shoved in the last of his cone to his chocolatey face. What a silly kid!

Here are Hannah's cute strawberry lips.

We drove right into downtown for dinner. Richard was completely in love with these painted parking meters.

And Richard took this darling picture of Hannah banners.

They wouldn't hold our hands so they held each others and I couldn't resist...totally cute!!!

Waiting for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. We forgot it was spring break so Beale Street was packed and we had to wait a long time to be seated. But they had a lot to see and even street flippers. (I didn't get pics because there were just too many people.)

While waiting the kids were getting up on the railing at Hard Rock and Hannah was singing. Everyone thought she was so cute and just smiled at her on the way by. Some even commented how good she was. Maybe I should have put a hat on the ground for tips. lol

Saturday we did some shopping and then headed to the Children's Museum. It was a lot of fun and really crowded. It would have been nice to have spent more time, but the kids had a great time. Chris was really cute with them too.

I surprised Richard with a balloon Spiderman. He loved it but wanted to still discover. Once we left he loved the balloon.

Then we headed to Bass Pro Shop. Underneath the sign it reads: "Welcome fishermen, hunters, and other liars." Very funny!

On the way home the kids started to rap. I turned to see them and they had their hats turned sideways and backwards.

This is the bridge over the Mississippi. It was really pretty at night all lit up. The Mississippi is huge!

Spring time clothes

Chris's mom bought these darling clothes for the kids for Easter. Since Easter in General Conference this year so I let the kids wear them to Church today. They were so excited to wear them and looked so cute! Thank you Donnell!!

Our little princess. Hannah is such a girly girl and I LOVE it!!

Richard just HAD to pose with the broken Spiderman balloon he got in Memphis yesterday.

Hiking in the forest

This is a hiking path minutes from our apartment. I took the kids there after school yesterday and we had a fantastic time. It was 70 degrees, birds were chirping, and the sky was clear and blue. What a perfect day, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Happy Birthday Chris!!

After church on Sunday we drove to a nearby lake for a picnic and a hike. What a beautiful day and view. I had to snap a few pic of the the kids.
Totally loving this pic!!!

What good is a trip to the lake without throwing rocks?!?!
I'm thinking, I'm thinking...

Chris still hasn't decided what he wants for his birthday, but we had a nice time together as a family.
When we got home I saw a swan fly by so we went out to feed it.

The kids LOVE to "climb" this tree ourside our apartment.
