Memphis Ya'll

We really neede a break so we took one. Friday after work and school we drove to Memphis, only 2 hours away. We stopped to go potty and get icecream cones. Richard shoved in the last of his cone to his chocolatey face. What a silly kid!

Here are Hannah's cute strawberry lips.

We drove right into downtown for dinner. Richard was completely in love with these painted parking meters.

And Richard took this darling picture of Hannah banners.

They wouldn't hold our hands so they held each others and I couldn't resist...totally cute!!!

Waiting for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. We forgot it was spring break so Beale Street was packed and we had to wait a long time to be seated. But they had a lot to see and even street flippers. (I didn't get pics because there were just too many people.)

While waiting the kids were getting up on the railing at Hard Rock and Hannah was singing. Everyone thought she was so cute and just smiled at her on the way by. Some even commented how good she was. Maybe I should have put a hat on the ground for tips. lol

Saturday we did some shopping and then headed to the Children's Museum. It was a lot of fun and really crowded. It would have been nice to have spent more time, but the kids had a great time. Chris was really cute with them too.

I surprised Richard with a balloon Spiderman. He loved it but wanted to still discover. Once we left he loved the balloon.

Then we headed to Bass Pro Shop. Underneath the sign it reads: "Welcome fishermen, hunters, and other liars." Very funny!

On the way home the kids started to rap. I turned to see them and they had their hats turned sideways and backwards.

This is the bridge over the Mississippi. It was really pretty at night all lit up. The Mississippi is huge!

  3. We looked into going to Graceland, but it would have cost us almost $200 for the four of us and I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. If there was an amusement park or something more than the tour for that cost, maybe.

  4. I totally agree, especially since the kids would probably be bored. Maybe you and Chris could do a trip just the two of you to pay tribute to the King, hehe!
