The failed attempt...

After attending the gym Friday evening, I took the kids to dinner and we tried to go see Horton Hears a Who. Chris had gone fishing with his friend, Troy. The kids have been pretty good at the movies before and I thought it would give us something fun to do while Daddy was gone. Well, we were a bit early so we sat in the theatre. Richard was making friends with the boys behind us and Hannah was eating popcorn by the fits-fulls.

Well, the movie began and Hannah was so restless. I knew she was tired, but hoped she would just fall asleep. After standing at the back of the theatre for 20 minutes, Richard joined me. The doors were closed and he thought we were locked in. He panicked but I told him they were just closed. Well, turns out he was bored and wanted to go home. Great! At least it wasn't full price. Both kids fell asleep on the way home and I cleaned the house and read through my lesson for today. At least Chris had fun fishing. :)
