I had just made Richard some toast and walked into the other room to put Hannah down for a nap. When I came back Richard had put some powders on his toast. He loves cinnamon so I figured it was that. When I looked closer, it appeared there were other seasonings. He wanted to also add garlic flakes. I told him it wouldn't taste good on toast, but he was determined. I told him he could put it on, but he would have to eat it. He agreed.
Well, he took a bite and had a smile on his face, until the Jamaican Jerk Seasoning started taking effect. The spice came after the sweetness of the cinnamon and other flavors. Then he realized his concoction wasn't too great. I desperately wished I had filmed it. Richard is very expressive and his face was priceless as it changed from surprised enjoyment to being grossed out. Too funny!
