These are our friends, the Bettridges. They did the PTA float for the elementary near us. They did a great job. We cheered so loud for them! So cute! They even gave Richard and Hannah special treats. Thanks, guys!

We had so much fun at the parade. The kids filled up their bags with candy, they each got a popscicle, tons of coupons, and 3 frisbees! What a fun time!
Richard got hit by a frisbee in the mouth so Hannah came to the rescue to kiss it better.

What a wonderful day we had! I am still tired, though. lol. I am so thankful for my independence and for those who have and still are fighting for it. I love this country and get a tear in my eye each time I see the flag go by in the parade or hear the National Anthem. I'm grateful for the freedoms and blessings I have of being an AMERICAN! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!
