Fourth of July 2012

After a day filled with moving and organizing we decided the kids needed a break so we headed to the local festivities and fireworks, with out traditional bucket of KFC.

Chris had the kids doing somersault and other races to keep them occupied until the fireworks began. They had a lot of fun and got really tired.

Then came the fireworks show, what we had been waiting for all night. It was a really good show. I love the 4th of July and truly appreciate our freedoms in this great country.

God bless America!

Toad's Fun Zone

A month or two ago I bought a Groupon for Toad's Fun Zone in Ogden, quite a drive from
where we live. It seems that we have been too busy on the weekends, especially with moving, to make it there as a complete family. We had some time yesterday since there is no dance or summer camp this week so I surprised the kids by telling them we were finally going to Toad's. They have been waiting for this for many weeks.

Our Groupon gave us $20 in arcade games, one attraction each, a large pizza, and drinks. I had a hard time getting the kids away from the arcade because we all had so much fun. I even added more money to our playing card. Then we headed to the golf course for hot, sweaty, fun. We had a really good time. By the time we were finished we were all so thirsty and hungry so that was perfect timing for our pizza and drinks.

It was a lot of fun and worth the long drive, and the rush hour traffic we hit on the way home. I love my kids and they enjoy new adventures and having fun together!

Kamas Family Time

Today we were blessed to spend some time with all of our family, except my brother Brandon who is working out of town. All 19 of my Mom's grandkids were here and we had a fun cookout in Kamas at my Grandpa's property. It was a lot of fun!

The water was especially popular with my kids.

Emma was content with a slotted spoon.

Brady and Bo were awesome to help Richard out with the boat he started making yesterday

Marki and Rocky were swinging holding hands. I thought it was adorable. Happy Birthday Rocky!

Uncle Mark gave Emma a chocolate chip cookie...clearly she enjoyed it

Justin, I love this boy!

Bo, such a stud

My silly girl Hannah

Riley was so great to help tie the boat together and launch it into the water

Richard calling to the boys for help with the sinking boat. They all worked so hard on it.

Brandon and Grandma

Back row: Bryce, Rocky, Zachary, Annie, Emma, Brittany, Chloe, Madeline, and Sammy (we have adopted her into the clan)

Mark asked them to do silly faces and this is the result: the older girls were anxious to get back to their game of tetherball, the little kids did some funny faces, while the big boys got a little wild.

Justin, Brandon, Eliza, Marki, and Hannah (with Uncle Paul causing some kid of trouble, ha ha)

Justin and Brandon (these two melt my heart, just look at those adorable faces)
