Back to school...

I cannot believe that Richard will be in 3rd grade and Hannah in 1st. This summer has flown by and my babies are another year older. One of my favorite parts of going back to school is that I have an excuse to take pictures of some of my favorite people. And I love how they pose, they are both so funny and have very distinct personalities. I love them both so much and we have a lot of fun together.

I always go overboard with the pictures and so many of these turned out really well so there are a lot of pictures on this post...I hope you have some down time. As we go on adventures around town I keep places in mine that will be good for our family photo shoots and this is one that we came across last week. I am really happy with how they turned out.

This young man has become quite the football player. He puts a lot of effort into learning the game and techniques and I am so proud of all that he is learning. He also is a fantastic scout and has earned many awards this year. He is smart, funny, and a great helper.

This beautiful girl is one heck of an emergent dancer. She won an award for being the most improved in her group last spring and dance is certainly her passion. She adores being a big sister and is a great helper in many ways. She is also very funny and smart.

Jaguar Football

Mr. Richard got to play in a scrimmage on Saturday. He has worked really hard to get to this point and was very much looking forward to the opportunity to play. He is number 12!

I wasn't able to get too many action shots because of where we were sitting but he did a good job.

My little Wolf

Richard has been working really hard this year with his scout den and pack. He has earned his wolf in less than 8 months and I am so proud of him. Tonight he was presented with his wolf along with a gold arrow point, 5 silver arrow points, #3 and 4 beads, archery belt loop, BB gun belt loop, geology belt loop, geology pin, Nova: tech talk, and leave no trace. I am so proud of him and thankful for the incredible leaders we have in our ward/pack.

After the official business everyone played a little baseball.
