Sunsets and Antlers

Last night we went for a drive to a new location, Chris is searching for a great hunting location so we are scouting. We found a beautiful sunset and dozens of deer and antelope. Here are a few that the kids and I took from our little adventure.
(Some of the sunset pictures are from my balcony.)

These incredible animals were right off the main highway. We stopped and watched them for about five minutes until they were spooked away. They are beautiful!

I know these are difficult to see, but there were dozens of antelope in this hay field. All of the little white butts were funny to watch as they ran away from us. The antelope were much more spooked than the deer.

Of course, we enjoy photo ops for the kids. They actually took these of each other. They are improving.

Adventures in our new home...

We are settling into our new place and Chris is getting into the swing of things at work.Things are going really well and we love it here in Montana! The weather is lovely, the views are incredible, the people are wonderful, and we are so happy.

Chris, the kids, and I very much enjoy discovering our surroundings. We have gone on several beautiful drives and hikes. Here are the photos from one of our adventures.

The kids took turns taking family pictures. I think they did a pretty good job! I love these pictures and the wonderful times we are having here in our new home.

The views are so much different from Nebraska and Arkansas, but more like Utah. It is beautiful!

Big Changes

We were able to stop by Utah on our way to our new home. The kids were thrilled to get their horse out that has been in storage at Grandma's.

Hannah had so much fun with the hose, she and Richard watered everything.

Chris and I went for a hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was beautiful!

Then we made it to Montana. We love it here!

A few mornings ago this beautiful rainbow was out our back windows. It was great to cook breakfast with the cool wind coming in through the windows and looking at the rainbow. Did I mention that we love it here?

Fourth of July Celebrations

We had a fun Fourth this year. First, we had a pancake breakfast with our current and previous wards. It was a lot of fun and the kids were able to play at the park with their friends from both wards.

In the evening we went to the Arkansas River with a KFC picnic and met up with friends to play and watch fireworks. We had a really nice day together.

Crazy Pool Hair

It is summer which means full time at the pool. Today the kids were having fun with their cool new hair-do's. They are so cute and we are loving summer!
